Leaders
David Coghlan — Managing Director
David Coghlan is Havok’s Managing Director responsible for Havok’s overall strategic direction and growth. David joined Havok in 2004 and during his Havok career has held a number of senior operational roles and served on the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Havok, David was Director of Corporate Strategy for Elan Corporation, a NYSE-listed biotechnology company. David qualified as an accountant in the audit and business advisory group of international firm KPMG, and he holds a degree in Finance from Trinity College, Dublin.
Brian Waddle — Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Brian is responsible for leading Havok's global sales and marketing strategies. Brian has over 20 years of management experience and a history of sales success and he led Havok’s sales team during the most successful year of sales in the company’s history.
Prior to Havok Brian was Senior Vice President at Image Metrics, a facial animation technology and services company. Brian also participated in the growth of household name-brand consumer products at Scotts Miracle Gro LLC (NYSE: SMG) and the company went from a $200 million private entity to a $2.7 billion public corporation during his tenure. Brian is a graduate of California State University Sacramento and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Felix Roeken — Vice President of International Development
Felix Roeken is Havok’s Vice President of International Development, and is responsible for overseeing Havok’s strategy and development within international markets. Prior to joining Havok, Felix co-founded Vulpine GmbH, a game technology corporation where he established successful world-wide market and sales activities. Felix also served as General Manager for Trinigy, a leading firm in the field of 3D Game Engines recently acquired by Havok, where he oversaw the company's strategy, finances, sales and marketing affairs. He holds a degree in banking and finance from Deutsche Bank AG.
Andrew Bond — Vice President, Technology
Andrew Bond is one of the founding Havok engineers, and is responsible for Havok's technical strategy and product direction. During his career Andrew led the development of Havok Physics and has been involved in the design and architecture of many of Havok's other products. Andrew is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Graphics.
Dave Gargan — Vice President, Engineering
Dave Gargan is Havok’s Vice President of Engineering overseeing and managing Havok’s engineering teams worldwide, each specifically focused on one of Havok’s cutting edge products. Dave was a founding engineer of Havok and during his career at Havok has designed and led the development of a number of products including Havok Animation and Havok AI. Prior to joining Havok, Dave was a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Trinity College, Dublin. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Trinity College.
Ross O’Dwyer — Worldwide Head of Developer Support
Ross O’Dwyer is responsible for overseeing Havok’s worldwide Developer Support function. During his career in Havok, Ross held a number of customer-facing technical roles before assuming responsibility for the overall management of the Developer relations teams across each of the Havok global locations. Ross is a graduate of University College Dublin with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a Higher Diploma in Computer Science.
Andrew Bowell — Head of Product Management
As Head of Product Management, Andrew Bowell brings over 14 years of technology experience to Havok, where he is responsible for managing Havok’s product line from planning to execution. Andrew works closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenues and customer satisfaction goals are met, and that Havok’s products support the company’s overall strategy and objectives. Since joining Havok in 2000, Andrew has held various roles including Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Pre-sales Engineer, and Product Engineer. Prior to joining Havok, Andrew was an IT Consultant where he served London and New York areas. Andrew received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from Trinity College in Dublin.
Jane Cullen — Worldwide HR Manager
As Havok’s HR Manager, Jane Cullen is responsible for Havok’s worldwide HR operations. With over 9 years of human resource management experience, Jane works closely with Havok’s management team to support and develop Havok’s employee base. Prior to joining Havok, Jane served a number of HR specialist roles in high-tech companies, including Creative Labs and Hewlett Packard in Dublin. Jane is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and graduated from the National College of Ireland with a specialist degree in Human Resource Management.
Andrew Callanan — Group Financial Controller
As Group Financial Controller, Andrew Callanan brings over 14 years of high-growth, multi-national financial experience to Havok, where he is responsible overseeing the company’s global financial operations. Prior to joining Havok, Andrew established and led the European Financial Operations of ServiceSource, a San Francisco-based software and business services company. Andrew has also held several finance roles at Microsoft Corporation, including Controller of the Nordic Entertainment Division in Stockholm, and FP&A Manager of European Operations in Dublin. He is a Chartered Accountant and began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. Andrew received his B.B.S in Finance & Economics from Trinity College Dublin and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Ireland.
